Super Visa Application Process

The application process is similar to that for a regular Temporary Resident Visa, including 2 steps:

  • Step 1: Get your documents ready
  • Step 2: Apply online through the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Portal

The application must be processed at the Canadian visa office responsible for the applicant’s residence outside Canada. Additional documentation may be required depending on the specific visa office.

All Super Visa applicants are required to undergo a medical examination. The necessary forms and instructions for this examination will be provided by the visa office after the application has been submitted.

The complete application will be evaluated based on various factors, including the purpose of the visit and whether the parents or grandparents have strong ties to their home country. This can be demonstrated through family connections, financial status, and other affiliations outside Canada.
