Super visa applications now mandate the following one-year annual gross income based on family size.

What is Super Visa?
The Super Visa is a temporary immigration permit designed for the parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
This visa allows eligible family members to stay in Canada for up to five years without needing to renew their visa or apply for an extension. Additionally, they have the option to request an extension of up to two more years before their initial five-year period expires.
Super Visa vs Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship
The Super Visa is ideal for parents and grandparents seeking temporary, long-term visits to Canada. It requires medical insurance, proof of income, and generally has faster processing times.
In contrast, the Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship program is suited for those seeking permanent residency. This program involves a more complex application process, higher and sustained income requirements, and longer processing times, but it grants permanent resident status and full resident benefits.
